Document Description
The County of Fresno’s Department of Public Works and Planning (County) is proposing to make park improvements to El Porvenir Park (Park). The Park is located at the southeast corner of Hildago Avenue and El Progresso Avenue in unincorporated Three Rocks, California. The Park is open for day use with approximately 1 acre developed in trees and turf. Current amenities within the Park include seating areas, a playground, a soccer goalpost, a basketball court, and other minor elements such as signage and lighting. The project consists of installing a new playground structure with a safe fall surface, adding Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible tables, repairing the existing basketball court surface, baseball and soccer fields, and installing other ADA compliant improvements such as parking and accessibility paths and two ADA ramps outside the park. All improvements will help create active and passive recreation opportunities.
