The Park is located at the northwest corner of Henderson Avenue and Bowles Avenue in unincorporated Raisin City, California. The Park is open for day use with approximately one acre developed in trees and turf. The park is frequently used for recreation activities, to host celebrations, and for community events. The project consists of upgrading playground equipment; enhancing park lighting; and installing new tables, seating areas and fencing. The project will include as many of these improvements as the budget will allow, with the addition of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) parking improvements and a safe-fall surface for the new playground equipment. These improvements will encourage visitors to participate in outdoor recreational activities and promote mental and physical wellness.
