Description of Nature, Purpose and Beneficiaries of Project:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) using state funding, proposes to repair and replace culverts on SR 147 in Plumas County from PM 2.9 to PM 7.3. Purpose: To replace and repair deteriorating culverts at various locations along SR 147 in Plumas County. Need: Culverts that are old and deteriorated present risk to the roadway through undermining and could lead to failure of the roadway if left unrepaired.
