Document Description
The project is limited to the construction of a 70-foot metal sheet pile seawall. Thirty feet of the new seawall will be lakeward of the existing cinderblock seawall. An additional forty-foot section will replace the old bulkhead and run perpendicular to Clear Lake. The new structure will be approximately ten feet, six inches tall, constructed with an estimated 35 driven Z-shape steel sheet piles, each measuring 2-feet wide by 20-feet long. The steel piles will be driven in front of the existing cinder block seawall. No portions of the existing structure will be demolished or removed during project activities. Approximately 170 yards of light lava rock will be backfilled behind the new structure. No native vegetation will be removed.
