California Polytechnic State University. San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) is proposing to renovate the existing Kennedy Library (Building 35) to provide additional space and improve the function of the existing facility The renovations would improve the building's systems and envelope, create modem classroom space for more students. and enhance the overall support for library programs and services. Renovations would include installation of new light-emitting diode (LED) light fixtures, fire sprinklers, high volume air conditioning (HVACl systems, seismic upgrades, and other infrastructure improvements. As part of the renovation, the existing central staircase would be replaced.
