Document Description
The City of Williams is proposing an update to its existing General Plan Public Safety Element and the addition of an Environmental Justice Element. The proposed Public Safety Element Update and Environmental Justice Element Project would include policies and actions designed to enhance public safety with regards to flood hazards, fire hazards, and climate change, and promote healthy and equitable outcomes within the City. The proposed amendment would not modify the City of Williams General Plan Land Use Map, land use designations, or intensities/densities identified within the General Plan Land Use and Character Element. Further, no changes to the maximum development potential approved for the General Plan and analyzed in the General Plan Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) would occur with the proposed amendment.
