Document Description
Up to six permeability tests around the spillway. Each permeability test will involve digging a 6 to 8-inch diameter hole (using hand tools or a powered post hole digger). Water will be poured down the hole and the rate of water drop recorded. A short length of PVC pipe will be installed in the hole and will be used to monitor the change in water level. Once completed the holes will be backfilled with excavated cuttings. Holes will not be left open overnight. Access will be on foot from dam crest road.
