(a) Conduct monitoring and assessment of the coastal wetlands habitat in Santa Monica Bay to address data gaps identified in the Santa Monica Bay Comprehensive Monitoring Program and provide a gap analysis of Santa Monica Bay estuaries; (b) Compile and manage existing wetlands habitat data and new measurements to synthesize biological condition; (c) Analyze data to better understand wetland condition and vulnerability to climate change and provide a chapter on coastal wetland condition for the Santa Monica Bay State of the Bay Report (d) Synthesize and standardize collected data in an online, publicly available database; and (e) Provide recommendations for method standardization for future wetland monitoring assessments in a standard operating procedure document.
