Document Description
The UC Davis Student Health and Wellness Center (SHWC) Behavioral and Psychiatry Clinic Remodel project will renovate approximately 2,100 gross square feet on the second and third floor of the SHWC in the Behavior and Psychiatric Clinic. The project will reconfigure existing office spaces on the second and third floors of the SHWC to improve internal circulation, provide additional private counseling offices, and control patient access. The project also renovates the staff restroom to comply with accessibility standards. The project will demolish existing walls, relocate doors, reconfigure the HVAC ducting, install new doors, upgrade the carpet, paint new walls, and add ingress and egress signage.

This exemption applies to the operation, repair, permitting, leasing, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities or mechanical equipment, involving negligible or no expansion of an existing use. In addition, none of the exceptions for application of a categorical exemption apply to this project.
