The San Lorenzo Valley Water District (District, SLVWD) has determined that the Irwin Way and East Lomond Improvement Project (proposed project) is categorically exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15302, Class 2, for Replacement or Reconstruction and Section 15303, Class 3, for New construction or conversion of small structures. A Class 2 exempt project consists of the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure would be located on the same site as the structure replaced and would have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. A Class 3 exempt project consists of construction and location of a limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; installation of small new equipment and facilities.
