Document Description
SJFD plans to enlarge the Badger Hills Pumping Plant (BHPP) aqueduct entrance. To do this work, a loader and excavator will be used to remove a portion of the berm adjacent to the aqueduct entrance and place it into a dump truck. The dump truck will transport the material to the Las Perillas Pumping Plant lay down area, where it will be spread out using a backhoe. Finally, staff will lay down asphalt to expand the road. Construction is estimated to last 30 days. All work will take place within the DWR right of way. This work is necessary to provide easy access for heavy trucks and equipment to BHPP.
