Document Description
SJFD plans to install four new power poles, replace 8 spans of copper line, and add new fiber optic cable between Edmonston Pumping Plant (EDPP) and the EDPP surge tank. The main purpose of this project is to replace the control line for the surge tank butterfly valves, which is currently nonfunctional. A line truck, bucket truck, pickup truck, UTV, helicopter, and hand tools will be used to transport material and complete work. All holes will be dug by hand. A helicopter will be used to set poles at sites that are inaccessible by road. This work is necessary to continue to provide water to southern California.
