Document Description
The Colton Joint Unified School District proposes six general projects at Ruth Grimes Elementary School to be completed in two phases. Phase I involves the construction of a new restroom building at the northeast portion of campus, a new shade structure in a playground to provide additional dining space, and accessibility upgrades at the western parking lot. Phase II involves the construction of new building comprising three classrooms, new paving below an existing shade structure, and a new basketball court; the expansion of the northeast parking lot with 14 new stalls; and the implementation of additional accessibility upgrades at the western parking lot. The project would increase the existing enrollment capacity by 9.1 percent, from 792 to 864 seats.
