Document Description
The project proposes to rehabilitate the existing three-span, 99-foot-long by 28-foot-wide cast-in-place flat slab bridge over the A.C.I.D. Canal. Rehabilitation will include widening of the bridge deck, pier walls, and abutments, and will also include approach work. The new bridge deck will be widened approximately 11.5 feet for a new width of 40 feet. The bridge deck will include two 11-foot wide travel lanes, 5-foot wide shoulders, and a 6-foot wide sidewalk with a barrier.
