Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SHA-36231-R1), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, Center of Hope Apartments, Raul Nunez. The project is maintenance of the Little Churn Creek stream channel along the backside of the Center for Hope Apartments complex. Maintenance includes removal of trash in the stream, including plastic bags, shopping carts, and other garbage and removal and trimming of overgrown vegetation that impedes waterflow. All maintenance will we done by hand, using only hand tools. The work area will be accessed on foot. Vegetation maintenance will occur along 530 linear feet of the creek channel. The average width of the vegetation to be removed will be approximately 4 feet. Vegetation on the banks of the channel will be retained.
