Document Description
The proposed project is a request for a grading permit on a 1.85 acre parcel in the Fair Oaks community of unincorporated Sacramento County. The project site is located at 4261 Greenvale Road, on the west side of Greenvale Road and approximately 1,000 feet south of Winding Way. The project proposes to grade approximately 0.9 acres of a 1.85 acre site. Grading will involve the movement of 2,822 cubic yards of soil consisting of 1,246 cubic yards of cut and 1,576 cubic yards of fill and will extend approximately 4 feet deep. The amount of cut and fill are approximately balanced on the site. However, it should be noted that the calculation of cut and fill was done using land desktop volume calculator from existing grade and proposed finish grade terrain models, using the grid method. Exact excavation volume will be determined at time of field excavation. The proposed grading activity supports future development of the site consistent with County zoning regulations. Prior to, or concurrent with the grading work, the existing house will be demolished.
