Document Description
The cultivation of 8,960 square feet (sf) of mixed-light cannabis located in Trinity County. The Project area encompasses approximately 67,446 sf (1.54 acres). Existing infrastructure onsite includes: two (2) 26'x80' and two (2) 20'x80' hoop-houses for mature canopy and a 12'x40' hoop-house for immature plant canopy which will become post-harvest processing and harvest storage area. Existing support infrastructure includes: one 8'x24' metal storage container for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage, three (3) 1O'x12' sheds, two for general storage and one for administrative hold, a 1 O'x20' compost area for cannabis waste, a groundwater well for agricultural and domestic use, and four (4) 5,000, one 2,500-gallon water storage tanks and three (3) 275-gallon nutrient mixing tanks. The project proposes the addition of one 20'x80' hoop-house for mature canopy in a previously disturbed area.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
