Reasons for Exemption
The project includes minor alterations of existing public facility involving no expansion of existing or former use including interior and exterior alternations. The project also consists of minor cleanup actions take to prevent, minimize, stabilize, mitigate, or eliminate the release or threat of release of a hazardous waste or substance which are small or medium removal activities costing of $1M or less.
Based on an examination of the proposed project, supporting information, and analysis contained herein, the project is found to be exempt from CEQA review pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1) and Section 15330 (Class 30) of the CEQA Guidelines.
