The existing asphalt berm along the southbound shoulder of SR 49 will be partially removed and/or grinded to lower the finish grade elevations as needed. Additionally, a new concrete apron (depression) will be constructed around existing inlet at postmile 13.5 on SR 49. A temporary construction easement is required. The purpose of this project is to effectively collect and convey the stormwater runoff to the nearby drainage inlet. The project is needed to reduce flooding.
