Document Description
The project is a request for the following entitlements from the County of Sacramento:
1. A Use Permit to allow a new mono-pine wireless telecommunication facility (WCF) on an A-5 zoned parcel.
2. A Special Development Permit to allow the proposed project to deviate from the following development standards:
• An 85 foot tall WCF where the maximum allowed is 55 feet pursuant to Zoning Ordinance Table 3.6.2 and;
• A reduced setback of 185 feet from the north property boundary, 76.6 feet from the south property boundary, and 170.4 feet from the west property boundary, where the requirement is three times the height of the tower which is 255 feet pursuant to Zoning Ordinance.
3. A Design Review to Determine Substantial Compliance with the Sacramento County Countywide Design Guidelines.
The proposed new WCF would be 85 feet tall. The mono-pine stealthing design would include branches extending five feet above the tower height. The project also proposes a 50 foot by 50 foot fenced ground equipment lease area that would include a raised concrete pad, two radio cabinets, and utility meters.
