Document Description
The Project includes three phases (Study, Pilot, Implementation) resulting in deployment of one or more fuel efficiency strategies to significantly reduce locomotive fuel consumption and associated GHG and criteria pollutant emissions. The Project also studies, pilots, and implements modern maintenance activities, such as a transition to condition-based maintenance for Metrolink assets, to improve safety, reliability, state-of-good- repair, and to reduce operations and maintenance costs to support service.
