Reasons for Exemption
This project is exempt under categorical exemptions 15307 and 15308 because the LandFlex Grant Program provides immediate relief to drinking water wells in drought-stricken communities and limits unsustainable groundwater pumping in critically over drafted basins. This will result in more water left in the ground and available for drinking water wells.
