Document Description
A Commercial Cannabis Permit for the cultivation of cannabis located
at 10100 Meadow Spring Road in North San Juan, California. The project is located on a rural, 5.0-acre parcel in an Agricultural zoning district. This approval is for 2,500 square feet of mixed light cannabis canopy area consisting of two (2) 3,600-square foot greenhouses with 1,250-square feet of canopy area in each greenhouse and 1,890 square feet of support area located in one (1) 640 square foot immature plant area, one ( 1) 400- square foot drying storage area, one ( 1) 250-square foot trimming and packing area, one (1) 400-square foot material storage area, and one (1) 200-square foot compost area. The site is accessed from Meadow Spring Road by the existing driveway for the residence. The site is served by an existing well for water and an existing septic system for sewage disposal. Full-time tasks on site will be performed by the owner and there will be no employees. No noise producing equipment is proposed for this operation. All exterior lighting included in this operation will be downcast and fully shielded so as to not create light pollution. Hoop houses will be secured with blackout tarps to prevent light trespass when supplemental lighting is utilized. The structures will be located in an already flat area along the extension to the residential driveway. The project site is located in an area that will require some vegetation removal. A Notice of Applicability, and the Monitoring and Reporting Program were obtained by the applicant from the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. An annual cultivation license from the California Department of Food and Agriculture shall be obtained prior to the County Annual Cannabis Permit being issued.
