Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of the construction of an above-ground half-pipe ramp used for recreation and contains no natural resources. The project is exempt from CEQA because it is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment (CEQA Guidelines Sec. 15061{b){3)). The addition of a 36-foot by 52-foot ramp will result in a minor change to the environment, and therefore it is certain that it has no
possibility of a significant effect on the environment.
