Planned Development Rezoning to a Commercial General CG(PD) Planned
Development Zoning District to allow demolition of the existing bed tower and daycare center associated with the existing Good Samaritan Hospital Campus and the phased construction of two new hospital wings totaling approximately 750,000 square feet, a 200,000-square-foot medical office building, two parking garages, and a central utility plant with underground water and sewer holding tanks (to support 72 hours of emergency operation at the hospital). The project would increase the number of licensed acute care beds from 404 to 419 and result in a net increase of 958 new jobs. In total, all phases of construction will last approximately 10 years.
