Document Description
The proposed project is within Clearlake Keys in Clearlake Oaks. Because the channels in Clearlake Keys are manmade, the project is not required to obtain an encroachment permit under the Lake County Municipal Code Chapter 23. Due to starting the construction of a dock without the proper permits, the applicant is now bringing the project into compliance before any additional construction can occur. Construction will include three 8’ x 18’ floating docks spaced 9’ apart, with wood frames and plywood tops secured with 2-inch galvanized poles. Plans have been stamped by the Clearlake Keys HOA. Work is tentatively planned for 2023. The project will further require a building permit from the Building Department.
