Document Description
The Purpose of the Project is to restore the ecological function of the Mountain Meadow and Bagwell Spring/Creek riparian system which has been impacted by sediment transport, head-cutting, gully erosion, and channel incision. The installation of 8 rock grade stabilization structures, 37 beaver dam analogues (BDAs), and 3 post assisted log structures (PALS) are intended to disperse surface water, capture sediment, increase soil moisture, and develop mesic and wetland plan species expansion. The total Project size is 0.59 acres and 392 linear feet of temporary disturbance to restore roughly 250 acres of meadow.
