Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. 1600-2019-0075-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison. The Project includes activities related to rehabilitation of the Eastwood Visitor Information Site as required by a Settlement Agreement and USDA-FS 4(e). The rehabilitation includes the replacement of a culvert and outfall reinforcement, as well as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission required bank stabilization needed to repair damaged and undercut portions of the banks along the Portal Powerhouse Discharge Channel to prevent erosion and improve public safety. The Agreement is amended to include an increase to the number of trees removed from six to 22, and modifications to the replanting and reporting measures.

The Project includes the maintenance of an existing facility of a publicly-owned utility used to provide electric power, natural gas, sewerage, or other public utility services with no expansion of use. The Project will not have significant environmental impacts if it is completed under the protective features of Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2019-0075-R4.
