Document Description
The project would improve the quality of wetland and quantity of meadow habitat by installing beaver dam analogs (BDAs) and post assisted log structures (PALS) in stream channels. The structures would not exceed 2 feet in height and will be built using hand labor and onsite native materials, minimizing soil disturbance throughout the Project. Each BDA or PALs would disturb approximately 60 square feet of wetland/meadow vegetation and soil, for a total disturbance area of approximately 6,000 square beet within the Project area.
