Document Description
The Alameda County Public Works Agency owns and maintains Stanley Blvd in Unincorporated Pleasanton. Due to the 2022-2023 winter storm, a natural embankment bank adjacent to Shadow Cliffs lake failed in three separate locations along Stanley Blvd. The emergency work planned at each site consists primarily of stabilizing the embankment with a stepped wall of Lightweight Cellular Concrete (LCC) constructed against the embankment within a framework of Hilfiker welded wire. It is anticipated that the contractor would use the following equipment: a crane boom truck (crane), a mini excavator, long reach excavator, and a truck mounted LCC plant (LCC truck). Best Management Practices (BMP) of Spill, erosion, and sediment control measures will be established at the bottom of the slope to mitigate run-off into Shadow Cliffs Lake. After stabilization of the slope is complete, the existing utilities will be restored to their original conditions. The sidewalk and bioswales will be replaced to match their original conditions.
