Document Description
The project is replacement of the CHP Modesto Office building roof. The activity includes removing bitumen roof, flashings, and repairing damaged plywood substrate in limited areas. A PV roof membrane system will be installed to cover board, polystyrene insulation, existing plywood deck. Finishings include installation of new flashing, counterflashing, scuppers, backing, blocking, fasteners, etc., and resealing the existing standing seam metal roof, tightening loose metal panel fasteners, replacing missing fasteners with neoprene washers, and replacing existing seam coatings, mastics and sealants where needed. All construction debris will be properly disposed of in compliance with existing regulations. Re-roofing the building will improve protection against inclement weather.
