Document Description
The Project would improve a 1.2-mile section of the 1.7-mile transportation corridor on Halcyon Road. The Project includes multimodal transportation enhancements so that all travel modes are accommodated to promote safe and convenient walking and bicycling for residents and visitors alike. The Project includes filling in sidewalk gaps, installing buffered bike lanes or separated bikeways where feasible, implementing a road diet, and construction of a compact roundabout at the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and South Halcyon Road. These enhancements are projected to provide safer travel for all travel modes at both the intersections and the adjacent roadway segments.
