Reasons for Exemption
The City of San Diego determined that the proposed activity is exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15305 (Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations) of the State CEQA Guidelines. The map action of a water easement vacation is a minor alternation in land use limitations, the area is average slope of less than 20% and which will not result in any changes in land use or density. Furthermore, the exceptions listed in Section 15300.2 do not apply.
