Reasons for Exemption
A Class 14 exemption consists of minor additions to existing schools within existing school grounds where the addition does not increase original student capacity by more than 25% or ten classrooms, whichever is less. The aquatics facility will be located in an already disturbed area of the Highland High School campus and the development of one classroom. The Project will not increase the student capacity of the existing high school. See attached memo and technical studies to provide substantiation of the findings and for additional information.
