Document Description
Install a well and trailer pads in the Mill Creek Addition Area of Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Parks to provide a reliable source of potable water and utility hookups for staff working in the area. Work will:
• Have a commercial well-drilling company drill for a well no more that 120-feet deep;
• Brush and clear an approx. 5,000 square foot area, place and compact ¾ - inch road base to level, and install four (4) 2,500-gallon water tanks;
• Excavate a 40-ft x 1.5-ft x 1.5-ft trench and lay down a 3-inch electrical conduit, a 2-inch conduit for future use, and two (2) water lines, 1-inch and 1 ½-inch;
• Clear and level four (4), 15-ft x 30-ft areas and place 6-inches of ¾-inch road base for trailer pads;
• Excavate a single 24-inch-deep x 18-inch wide trench between each trailer pad and an existing septic tank; and
• If necessary, excavate to install a sewer pump to pump sewage from the trailers to the septic tank.
