The Central Utility Plan (CUP) Modernization and Expansion Project would renovate and seismically upgrade 9,000 gross square feet (gsf) within the existing CUP to a California Department of Health Care Access and Information rating from Structural Performance Criteria (SPC) 5s to 5 and Nonstructural Performance Criteria (NPC) 2 to 5 and construct a two-story, approximately 33,000-gsf annex (Annex Building). This expansion would provide the necessary space to accommodate the proposed upgrades.
