Document Description
The CUP Modernization and Expansion Project constructs an approximately 40,000-gross-square-foot expansion to the CUP, providing necessary space for equipment and operations-enhancement to improve utility capacity, reliability, and performance. The project also upgrades the existing building and operations to meet seismic code compliance. The project is designed to position UC Davis Health to move towards sustainability requirements with electrified CUP operations over the long term through a new dedicated connection to the local electricity provider. The Advanced Work Phase is an initial phase of the project to procure critical infrastructure components and equipment, demolish the Gross Anatomy Lab Extension, conduct utility relocations, and perform other site preparations necessary for construction of the full project.
