The California Energy Commission will provide a $890,500 grant to Pacific Coast Producers (Recipient) to fund the project. The Recipient will install a steam condensate recovery system to capture and repurpose waste condensate during the canning sterilization stage at the Recipient's tomato processing facility in Woodland, California. The new system will reduce GHG emissions, gas use, water consumption, and operating costs. Beneficiaries include Pacific Coast Producers and local communities around the Recipient’s tomato processing facility (with decrease of GHG emissions).

The installation will involve minor alteration of existing mechanical equipment with no expansion beyond the existing use of the food processing facility and will not have significant effect on the environment. The project falls under categorical exemption listed in 14 C.C.R. § 15301.
