Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Cannabis Cultivation License. Mixed light cannabis cultivation site (Type 1 B (5000 ft2); AG_2018-0115) of no more than 5,000 ft2 of canopy that will expand into a mixed light cultivation {Type 2B (10,000 ft2) site of no more than 10,000 ft2 of canopy in 2019. The cultivation site will be created over two phases. 'Phase 1' includes construction of a single 4,482 ft2 greenhouse, while 'Phase 2' features the construction of an additional greenhouse, allowing for 10,000 ft2 of canopy under cultivation.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 4 Categorical Exemption project. The project is a minor alteration in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or agricultural purposes. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15304. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
