Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Cannabis Cultivation License. A fenced-in area for outdoor cultivation (with a maximum allowed canopy of up to 10,000 square feet) is proposed towards the center site. The parcel is served by an existing well located in the northern portion of the parcel, as well as by an existing septic system and leach field. The site currently receives electricity from on-site solar power generation and is receives gas from Laytonville Gas Service.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 4 Categorical Exemption project. The project is a minor alteration in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or agricultural purposes. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15304. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply
