Document Description
The project is for the unbalanced exchange of Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency’s (SCVWA) State Water Project (SWP) Article 56 Carryover Water stored in San Luis Reservoir for The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California’s (MWDSC) 2023 approved SWP Table A water. Under the proposed exchange, 9,433 acre-feet of SCVWA’s Article 56 Carryover Water will be made available to MWDSC in San Luis Reservoir for delivery to MWDSC’s service area by December 31, 2023. In exchange, MWDSC will return to SCVWA, based on an exchange ratio of 3 to 2, approximately 6,289 of MWDSC’s 2023 Table A Water by December 31, 2023.

d. There will be no change in land use.
