Document Description
The project will install a new freestanding electric vehicle (EV) ARC 2020 charging station at the Ocotillo Wells District headquarters. The station will be installed east of existing parking structures by sea containers, on an existing gravel pad. The EV charging station will improve and increase the ability to charge the district's electric or hybrid fleet. Charging is limited to state vehicles and located in a restricted area closed to the public. The EV solar panel dimensions are approximately 8ft wide by 9ft tall, with the charging footprint for the EV charging station 30ft wide by 22ft long. The EV charging station will be mounted on the surface; no ground disturbance is required for installation. The existing gravel pad will be leveled for use as a parking pad; no further earth work is necessary. Measures to be implemented to avoid impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the Environmental Coordinator listed below.
