Document Description
DWR staff and Contractor will repair concrete spalls and joint repairs within the Oroville Dam Flood Control Outlet. Work and haul routes will be on existing paved and disturbed roadways. Hydrodemolition will remove poor concrete and clean surfaces. Concrete will be mixed on site and finished to match existing grade. Joint sealant will be removed by hand and sandblasted to prepare for new sealant application. Containment will be in place to capture any runoff. All work is within DWR right of way.

The State Water Project provides significant and critical services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. The Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance as this activity will be implemented without any environmental impacts.
