Document Description
Replace the current pressure vacuum breaker (backflow valve), two (2) existing waterlines that run side by side, and install gate valves to off shoots of the main waterline at Shadow Glen Stables within Folsom Lake State Recreation Area to provide a more reliable source of water to various locations within the property. Heavy equipment and hand tools will be used to:
• Excavate an approximately 24 inches wide, 30 inches deep, and 420 feet long trench;
• Fill trench with a bed of sand, install new pipe, backfill with excavated materials, and cover with asphalt base; and
• Install a new vacuum pressure breaker and gate valve.
