Document Description
The 0.21-acre Project consists of placing approximately 3000 cubic yards of launch rock along about 200 feet of levee along the San Joaquin River. Of the 3000 cubic yards of launch rock, about 2250 cubic yards will be placed below the Ordinary High Water Mark. Rock will be brought to the site in truck loads and placed just off the levee crown road. An excavator will move the rock into position. The Project is necessary to stop the ongoing erosion and subsequent failure of this State Plan Flood Control levee.
