Document Description
Repair and restore North Peak/Montara Mt. Road from Highway 1 to Montara Peak, passing through Montara State Beach, to restore access to a primary critical communication infrastructure site serving San Mateo County. Proposed work will: o Remove hazard trees (i.e. dead or diseased) and trees impeding roadway; o Brush and trim along the existing road alignment to a width that will allow access by Type 3 engine apparatus; o Smooth the exposed road bedrock to allow for smoother vehicle travel; and o Level the road surface with adjacent berms and grade to reroute water off roadway where appropriate.
