Document Description
This project will enhance vehicular circulation and pedestrian safety by creating a "No Parking" restriction and a "Passenger Loading Only" zone on Church Road, south of Washington Avenue for the Earlimart Elementary School crosswalk. Project will consist of installing "No Parking" and "Passenger Loading Only" signs along with painting the curb red and white as described, in the unincorporated community of Earlimart, CA. In response to concerns regarding traffic and pedestrian safety with parked vehicles creating a visibility obstruction to the crosswalk, the Tulare County Resource Management Agency (RMA) investigated these concerns and determined that a "No Parking" restriction along with a "Passenger Loading Only" zone at this location would help to improve the sight distance and prevent a visibility obstruction to the crosswalk.
