Document Description
This project will install an automated pay machine in the parking lot of Fort Ross State Historic Park to supplement the collection of fees that are currently collected at the entrance station. In the parking lot adjacent to the visitor center/museum, work will:
-Excavate a 24-in x 24-in x 6-in. deep area for a new concrete mounting pad;
-Excavate an approx. 24-in. deep by 150-ft. long trench from an existing junction box to the new pad location;
-Install all needed conduit and pull necessary wires for all electrical and telecommunications needs; and
-Install the new APM machine and connect all services.
All work will be done in consultation with DPR natural and cultural resources specialists when selecting the location of the machine and when determining the route for the necessary power line and telecommunications line and excavation for the pad.
