Document Description
Construction of two roundabouts at the ramp intersections of State Route 99/233 in Chowchilla. The existing State Route 233 bridge over State Route 99 will remain in place to accommodate for eastbound traffic. A new separate concrete bridge will be constructed for westbound traffic. A 10-foot sidewalk will be placed along the westbound lanes on the new bridge to provide pedestrians and bicyclists a connection between the west and east side of the city. Other work includes drainage improvements, the widening of the Ash Slough bridge on State Route 99, and access road construction. New right of way will be required for construction of the project.
