Document Description
The project under consideration is the City of Del Rey Oaks 2023 Draft Housing Element Update, including implementation of the Housing Element which would amend the General Plan and rezone certain properties to provide adequate sites to address regional housing needs (RHNA). This 2023 Update revises specific policies and programs in the 2019 document related to general plan amendment and rezoning for specified areas of the City. Thus, the project evaluated in this EIR includes the adoption of the 2023 Housing Element Update, as well as the general plan amendment and rezoning proposed for implementation though programs of the Housing Element. The EIR also considered the 5th Cycle and 6th Cycle RHNA impacts under cumulative.
